Please view this one full size, it is not so dark when viewed in larger size. Fos some this may still be too dark?
These big babies both had baths today, these are my daughters horses. The lighter one is is rose - a Tennessee Walker mare, and the the other one is her quarter horse gelding Blaze. They reside here on my property, and I get so much enjoyment just watching them, I have done some riding, but it's been awhile, Blaze is a great ride, and even though I have not rode Rose, I hear she is too. :)
She is taking Blaze trail riding tomorrow, and wanted to clean them both up for some pictures. I used the flash, and did some highlight adjustment, and used a bit of topaz.

Not too dark, Sandi. Just right, in fact. Two lovely equines in your barn. You got really nice color in the shot and apparently it needed little adjustment. Well done.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
To me, neither on small nor full screen size this image is too dark, Sandi. See however that the by you used, so called, 'fill-in flash' was a proper tool to achieve an optimal result. Like to say as well that only at full screen size one can't enjoy its great details.
