While visiting the calendar gardens yesterday, there was alot of hummingbird action, but I failed to get an action shot, but did spot this cutie taking a break. I have a couple more of her to share with you. I was watching her fly, and managed to keep my eye on her, when she landed. This spot was full of plants, and I'm sure if I had not watched her land, I would not have seen her sitting there.

Thank you for commenting.

I bet the hummer didn't rest for very long & sure do love the its pose. They've been rather active here too. Wonderful capture on a not-so-easy subject, Sandi.

I wouldn't have seen it land, but I probably would have heard it. My hearing is exceptionally keen, Tigz. :)
Super shot.

Great pose, great image. She stands out so well against the perfectly blurred background.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
