My current submission to the B&W fun challenge. I have only been to this lovely place once this year, it's a private residence that welcome visitors to their lovely property. This is one from last year, and the color version is in my gallery.

I appreciate your comments, thank you.

Even in B/W this garden/park looks beautiful Sandi. The different shades of grey and black make the plants look lovely.

Unusually soft and nice to touch, oops .. I mean to view.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This is nice Sandi with a lot going on, tones, shadows, highlights … I think you did a real fine job on this. I might have tried to pull a little more out of the background shadowed area but on the other hand it may have distracted the eye from the flowers in the foreground.

Excellent for The Challenge Sandi as there is so much to look at. I like your use of light and contrast.

A good view of the garden Sandi. The shadows could be lightened and the white balance shifted to introduce some light into the scene.
