Took this one last week, and tried some bracketing adjustments with the canon 40D, and used the sigma 17/70 lens.

This was my first attempt at using bracket adj. I know that is an option for HDR, so not sure if what I did made much difference but basic editing was done. Your comments are always appreciated, and thank you in advance.

Tomorrow is my day away, so thought I would post this one early.

I also want to let you know that I decided on "The Lion Sleeps" for my current contest entry, thanks for your feedback.

I think this turned out very well Sandi - you even got the detail of the grasses in the foreground.

Good job Sandi. I have just recently been viewing tips about this very subject on YouTube. Most of the incredible wallpapers are HD bracketed.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

You have moved up another bracket in the skill department, Tigz.

A good bracketing never does any harm Sandi!...

If snapped on a tripod, just layer the 3 or 5 bracket shots together then use the blending tool to get the tones you like!

like is a corker..and so easy on the eye too!..

Pretty colors with that long drawn sunset reflection, Sandi. Peaceful.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

its a useful tool even when you dont HDR Tigs, i think you just found that out! a little expose compensation in either way makes a big difference. HDR is another thing altogether if you bracket for that reason. i truely like this one exposure that came from the set.

Wow this is one beautiful sunset capture and beautiful natural colours plus stunning light in this romantic looking photography and the warm look to the sun and it reflection across the water is breath taking Sandi. Plus perfect presentation with the dark clouds and shade on the lift side of this photo as well.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
