Another from my visit to the sanctuary last Saturday. Shortly after taking this shot, i realized the f/stop was at 6.3. I adjusted it to f/4 and went back through for some more shots. I thought it was cool that I caught this fox yawning, and wanted to share it with you anyway, even though you can see some of the fencing.

Shooting through fencing is a challenge, and I have found that alot of success has to do with where the subject is in relation with the distance from the fence. I shoot through the small opening the best I can, and have to reposition myself accordingly.

Thank you in advance for commenting.

Unusual coloring for a fox, Tigz. I thought it was a coyote at first.
You are doing good with the fence blurring. I have do some of that at baseball games.

This is a lovely shot Sandi. You got it at the right moment. Shooting through fence is always a test of your patience. If the animal is close to the fence then no chance.

A beautiful animal and great timing SAS...evidence of the fencing is so subtle it in no way detracts from the image...well done.

That shot is super sharp, Sandi. Outstanding color, too. You do a great job shooting through fencing. I know how hard that can be, especially when there is three feet or more between the camera and the fence. That is the way it is at the Zoos I have been to.

I'm with Frank, now I feel the need to yawn and stretch. A lovely capture of the fox, Sandi, and good camera work. I'll send you my wire cutters since I have no use for them and then you can eliminate the fences for good.
