Spotted this flutterby at the calendar gardens. I hope anyone that went through the storms last night are okay. It poured here, but lucky for us the strong winds were a little south of us. More storms are supposed to hit later today.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

If this capture was taken recently, think this butterfly has used its instinct, and has searched a shelter in order to survive the approaching storm. If not, its internal navigation system has probably a malfunction, lol.
Fine capture anyhow my friend.

That is incredible Sandi. You have a butterfly and I hardly have seen a one here. This is a nice capture with the bonus of a shadow.

Beautiful butterfly and shadow, Sandi. We are just starting to see them here in northern Italy. They are Italian butterflies, but they don't eat pasta.

A butterfly and its shadow - I love the way the antenna show up better in the shadow than in real time. Good one Sandi.

An early butterfly for my area Sandi - Haven't seen any yet. Excellent capture with nice deep shadows contrasting with the brilliant sunshine.

Simply stupendous. The butterfly and textured background are so perfect, lighting, clarity, all here to produce a favorite. Excellent catch.
