I thought this Iris had such beautiful color, and could not resist a shot of her.
I'm going to try to get my commenting done now, but my daughter will be here soon. We are going to go have breakfast, and a bit of running, so if I don't get my comments done, I will when I get back.

She's simply beautiful Tigs - I love her color and the tonal variations in her petals - Well captured!!!! Looks like the small flower in the background is a Johnson's Blue Geranium, another favorite of mine.

Wow this is a beautiful close up of a Iris with superb detail and lovely colours plus light and your composition is perfect..The splash of purple from the small flowers adds a nice feel to this photo as well.

I think the most hard ones to shoot flowers are the yellow ones. They generally get too much light and pops up in the photo. But you have handled this one very good Tigs. Congrats loved it:)
