I would like to introduce you to Jack, who belongs to my friend Carolyn. At birth he had difficulties, and Carolyn who gives a good home to dogs, and cats in need took him in to her home.
He has difficulty with his balance, and she has found that therapy swim sessions really work well for his condition.
I took the new lens along, just had to try it out,ISO 800.

What a cutie Jack is! He looks like he is having fun in the water. Speaking of water, it looks fantastic in this shot, too. The new lens and you did a great job, Sandi.

He's a cutie Sandi and I know swimming therapy is helpful for humans as well as canines.

My dog Floss hates swimming.
She loves a paddle, but there's no way would she'd get into such deep water, doggy life jacket or not! I've thrown her into rivers and lakes, etc. but she immediately gets out and shows her distaste at such watery matters, by shaking herself dry all over me!
Anyway, lovely photo of Jack and much credence to your friend Carolyn for spending the time and effort in helping Jack and all the other dogs and cats she's cared for.

that new lens seems to be a multitasker Tigs. nice reflection on the water with great color bouncing in the waves. its also good to know the S.S. Jack is not going down, just out for some good old fashion exercise.

I have real appreciation for photos like this one. They're not just a nice photo with a pleasing subject--they're a story, one that's a real life lesson. Too often animals with challenges like this are left to get through life as best they can. Sounds like you and I have similar friends, Sandi; he appears quite trusting in his snazzy life preserver. Please give your friend a mega-kudos and six or seven high-fives for us. Take her out for dinner. Go easy on the wine.
