A mother daughter portrait taken yesterday at Josef Samuel's studio.

He had remote lighting equipment, just attach the remote untop of your camera, and there ya go. He explained that the equipment can be used outdoors to overtake the sun, and also the sun light that was cast on the backdrop in the studio. It was interesting, and fun I will say.

By no means will I be investing in studio equipment, that is way over my budget, and would be very hard for me to make it up with photo shoots.

I hope you don't mind me sharing these as I know they are not wallpaper images, but what a treat to be able to try this.

I would like add that all of the shots taken yesterday were handheld.

Thank you in advance for your comments.

Excellent clarity, very natural colors and good lighting in this shot Sandi. Was this handheld or did you use a tripod?

A super portrait; one that Brenda and Lauren will treasure. How fun to play for day in a real studio.

I can see you opening your studio in the future Tigz. Might I suggest Wildcat Studio?
Another impressive portrait.

Sandi, showing people how they are, without a touch of glamour, is rather difficult. You've succeeded in doing this. So, to me, it's an excellent 'real life' portrait. Very well done, my friend. Sandi.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
