I too saw the little bit of red and I heard one outside the window the other day but never saw it. You do so well on these bird shots and lucky to have the place to find them.

I've only seen one up close a couple of years ago. The cute little thing was eating on some July 4th watermelon rind. So good to get pictures as often as you do I think. Good picture Sandi.
You are remarkably gifted in taking these photos of wildlife. I have never been able (or patient enough) to get a subject to remain long enough for me to lift my camera to my eye.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
