I actually saw a butterfly the other day Tigz, but I wasn't fortunate enough to get a shot this good.
Wonderful detail with perfect bokeh.

Sandi, in my comment on your previous post I've said that I'm not a specialist when it comes to butterflies. But, although there aren't Monarch butterflies in my area, even with one eye half opened (😜) I instantly recognized the species.
