Interesting looking bloom, do they bloom all the way out to the end? Nice capture of them.

Seems I have seen these somewhere in my travels Tigz.
Wonderful shot of what Mother Nature gives us to enjoy.

Sandi, in my country this flower is mostly called Montbretia. They grow from basal underground corms. I had them in my garden, but that - in spite of their beauty - wasn't a success. Because they develop corms in vertical chains that interferes with the the surrounding other plants, so being invasive and difficult to control in a garden.
A wonderful capture however. A perfect Foofy Friday (F²) contribution.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
