My neighbors had one heck of a fire going tonight, burning lots of tree tree trimmings. I had to give this photo opt a try with my phone. They had the water hose handy, and the air was so still. I did do a bit of editing. Thanks for commenting. tigs=^..^=

A beautiful 'night time action shot' (😁) , Sandi. I see in your photograph that there is little or no wind, because otherwise burning prunings close to the buildings is a risky affair because of the fire hazard. This capture also shows that you can make beautiful night shots with a (good) cell phone camera!

Great shot, though I won't plan to stage anything similar.

Quite a blaze going and straight up too. Fine capture of the action.

A very nice effect, Sandi. With the motion of the cinders in the upper air the obvious high spot for me (figuratively and spatially), my suggestion would have been to black out everything but the fire and cinders, place it in the middle of a landscape view filled with the same black as in the original photo, and, if you could find some, run a line of ancient pictographs, in white, across the image with the opacity of the white knocked by to about 15 to 20 percent.

But that's just me and my penchant for tying fires like this to prehistory.

Marvelous fire, like the way it shuts up high. Sure hope everything went well with no damage to the area around them
