A spider web highlighted by the dew from the fog of the day. If you look closely, you can see the spider.

It could use just a touch of Smart Sharpen (60% maybe) in Photoshop, but what a perfect web! This is one creative spider you found, Tim, with so many double-ended strands circling the whole. I shot a huge one last week in the Black Hills of South Dakota, complete with an equally large Orb Weaver in the middle, but I wouldn't hire that one to do any contracting jobs for me. Your spider, on the other hand, must have been born in the home of a master architect and the profession passed onto him.

Well now, this spider obviously wasn't a subject in a drug test, one I saw years ago in which the arachnids were injected with a minute amount of various substances, to see how it affected their web-building skills. This guy's in perfect health and what a desktop wallpaper his web and your photo will make. I don't much care for spiders, having been bitten too many times by them, but I do admire their artistry.
