This is a shot from near the front door of my condo building taken about 9:15 this morning. You can see the snow still coming down and the 6' blue handicapped parking designation sign almost buried. If this scene feels like it's closing in on you that's what I was going for because that's pretty much how all of us living here feel. There were runs on grocery stores yesterday with everybody preparing to hunker down as the wind chills tonight and tomorrow are supposed to be dangerous in the range of 40 - 50 degrees below zero.

Kathy, because you've provided us with this beautiful sight, it's pretty hard for me to imagine how hard these severe wintry conditions are, the more we have average temperatures of above 10 degrees C.

Sympathising with all my heart with all you Americans and Canadians, badly afflicted sweet friends, I have to agree with our C. Our temps are at the level of + 10 C and rain hardly ever stops... This is a beautiful image and I live the branches sagging and bent under the snow load. The colours are surprisingly and most charmingly warm. Thanks, Kathy dear, drink lots of warm/hot fluids to keep you warm. Do not get out unless necessary. :)

Kathy you really nailed the exposure setting for the snow, your post work is very good also. Okay I've had enough snow for the rest of the season. :) Stay warm, stay safe. I just put out a litter box on the porch for Tom Tom, I hope he will use it. :)
