I kid you not - this was by far the largest lily I have ever seen. About thrice the size of a typical Easter lily flower with a bud that was about 6" long. As you can see it is so large it doesn't hold itself upright very well but with that creamy yellow center it was quite beautiful. My F2 post a bit late but still Friday here.

Kathy, at the eastern side of the big pond it's still Friday as well, so you're in time for the qualification 'Foofy Friday Image', lol!!!!
I was just kidding as such a precious post is timeless. Would had seen this giant lily with my own eyes. Sure that it would have been even more impressive than it's now. Thanks for this very fine shot!
