One of my favorite types of hydrangea and this was a more unusual color than the more common blue shades.

I've read on Wikipedia that the colors can be changed to a certain extent by additives on the soil.

I myself do not have a favorite hydrangea; due mostly to the fact that I'm still working through flowers that begin with the letter A. Who knew there were so many. A great close up on this beautiful bloom, Kathy. Lovely colours and details in the photo.
