My entry for Saturday Night at the Movies this week. A 2012 true crime melodrama and horror film. I played with some filters to make this house look more menacing.
Oh my Kathy, wonderful take on the movie. I enjoy horror films and since the 1959 Haunting of Hill House, through to the 2012 House on the Hill, to the 2018 Haunting of Hill House (remake), I have been one of their loyal viewers. Your gentle, almost placid photograph gives off the feeling of evil will be coming soon. You will not want to spend the night .
Ooh, a scary movie...though they scare me sometimes, like John, I am somewhat partial to the suspense/horror type film...your subtle editing here is perfect, not overly done...just enough to hint that something is not quite right here, something unpleasant is about to happen...a great addition to our movie lineup for this week.
Kathy, this house on the hill has a peaceful appearance, but this may be deceiving. Hope however that things like in this film hadn't happened, 😁 . An apt and good entry for the SATURDAY (or SUNDAY) NIGHT AT THE MOVIES theme.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
