The Glass Menangerie is a 1950 American film drama based on a Tennessee Williams play of the same name written in 1944. He also received credit for the screenplay for the film along with a co-writer. The cast was headed by an odd choice in Gertrude Lawrence as Amanda Wingfield. She overplayed the role and could not master a southern accent well. The remaining cast members were Jane Wyman , Kirk Douglas and Arthur Kennedy all of whom were well cast. This was done with a crystallized snow shot with a filter from SPE and further tweaked in PS. This is one of my contributions for the SNATM this week.

Ahhh, an oldie but goodie...a great story and what a lovely and unique image you have chosen to represent it...this would also make a great entry in the shadows contest...thank you, Kathy, for this terrific entry for SNATM!

Well done Kathy. Like SAW said it would also make a great entry for the Shadow's contest. I saw the movie years ago.
Tennessee Williams was a great playwright. He also did A Streetcar Named Desire and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
I love the photo and the editing you did on it.
