I have been remiss in that I usually post a rose for the 1st of June but with the recent move I'm behind in my photography. This was taken this morning while I was exploring photographic possibilities in our new area. The outside of the petals are orange and the inside of each petal is a golden color.

It's an excellent 'portrait' of one of the 'floral queens' because of colors, lighting, composition!
