A very deep red mallow or summer hibiscus - took a while for me to capture the color properly. As you see the buds are very dark before opening. My foofy for this week.

I've seen some of these blooming in town, but haven't tried to get a photo Kathy. Now I don't need to. I could never capture it this good.

Kathy, with the danger that I'm boring now, I like to repeat that such intense red color make a good photograph of it to a heck of a job, but, judging this result, you were dealing with this 'problem' very well, resulting in a very special F² contribution.
