Celosia, sometimes called coxcomb, comes in many different types. This type was a new one for me. In the early stages it has all tangled twisted growth which eventually produces what you see in my shot. For some reason it made me think of spiny lobster. Please open to see the textural details.

This would look good on a Red Lobster wall Kathy.
I have heard of coxcomb.
Great looking plant and ditto on the photo.

A fine and delicate species of a Coxcomb, Kathy. In my country Coxcombs are pretty rare. Mostly they are be seen only in special bouquets or flower arrangements.
Prefer however a real lobster to consume, 😜 !
