Petchoa is a recent new genus. The plants are a genetic cross between a petunia and calibrachoa. The Petchoa is a milestone in plant breeding and the result is a combination of the best characteristics of both the petunia and the calibrachoa. It is an amazing plant for home gardeners who enjoy hanging baskets loaded with blooms all season. The actual flower is larger than a calabrachoa but smaller than a petunia and they are self cleaning - no deadheading!

You have got all five of them beautifully here with sharp focus and with the green leaves providing a nice background.

Kathy, you're right, because the Petchoa is a relatively new plant on the market. Even a lot of gardeners haven't heard about it.
Amazing that you've found it and was able to provide us with a wonderful picture of these flowers. Very well done (per usual)!

Love these and have some growing in our gardens this year. The cross definitely took petunias on a step up in my book.

It's really a beauty and a hybrid for sure.
