Also known as Crown of Thorns plant. Flowers are generally red, pink or white but this one was a soft yellow. Part of the succulent family.

Kathy, in my country the Euphorbia Milii is known as 'Chistusdoorn' (Christ thorn). The red variant is most sold here, while the by you depicted yellow variant can only be seen here rarely.

Well, I am thrilled to view this capture. I have never seen this flower, your photo provides an incredibly attractive vision of it's beauty. I love the color, background, and especially the softness of the color and the scene itself. This is dramatic, a favorite for me.
