One from my Christmas tree in years past. Another from the bin. I have a tree up this year but it is un-decorated - just lit. Decorating the tree was something my late husband and I always did together and I just don't have the heart to do it this year.

Kathy, I understand these feelings.
My wife used to decorate the house before Christmas (including the Christmas tree). After her death, I took over this task because I didn't want my house to be undecorated during the visit of my children and grandchildren. But to be honest, I couldn't do this as tastefully as they did. Our country is now in complete lockdown again due to the Covid-19 (Corona) pandemic. This implies that my children and grandchildren cannot come to visit me. This takes away my courage to decorate my house in the usual way. A pity but a fact.
Thanks to your fine image I'm still brought in the Christmas mood. Thanks for that!

I can understand where your coming from Kathy, it's just not same for me either. I will say I love your decoration! I just have a cermic tree that my daughter made years ago up as my tree. Hugs! tigs=^..^=
