This is only the second time I have seen this fire engine red color mum - the first was last year and at the same garden. Most red mums are very dark like a burgandy or tend towards purplely red but not this one. It really stands out among the other colors. Taken with the new Nikon but not the macro lens.

Kathy, at first sight I thought it was a Dahlia because it hasn't the typical mums color.
