Spotted these recently at the garden center near the birch logs. I used to use these as filler in the days when I was making wreaths for the auction at work. We had 2 or 3 auctions a year to raise money for the Greater Chicago Food Depository. My wreaths used to fetch about $150.00 which goes a long way to feed hungry people.

Kathy, very decorative. The purposes you used to make the wreaths for are very noble. In my country we have food banks. The supermarkets donate their food that has reached the appropriate expiration date to people who cannot afford such food. They say my country is a rich country. In that case, I feel a certain sense of shame that such an institution is still necessary.

I like the full frame presentation of them, and how wonderful you were able to get such a good price on your wreaths, for a good cause. tigs=^..^=

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
