This one is from on top of the ferry ticket machine at the ferry landing. Its hard to find places to set the camera without a tripod, but when you're desperate almost anything works. (by the way - this is edited with lucisart and neatimage - not much experience, well, no experience, with either, but I think I have potential with both programs)

Oh my god: this picture is out of Blade Runner movie! The city is protected in a bubble of light along a metallic river. I got to fav' it right away.

Since this one is six years old your camera was probably a little lower in megapixels than today's models. Even so, it still holds its own against today's DSLRs, and the editing you did enhanced the hell out of it. It's a real beauty and yep, almost anything can be a tripod or rest, even a post on a road sign... anything to keep the camera steady. "tweir" isn't familiar to me, even though I've been a member for almost 10 years, so I need to go check out your gallery to see what other gems you've submitted.
