We are expected to get some severe cold and snowy weather on the weekend, so I went out today in the fog and rain, to see if I might be able to capture a few photos. I went to the local golf course, as I often do, and the Birch trees were so beautiful, and as I was driving thru the place, a soft pretty rainbow appeared, so here is the result. I sure love those Birches. Please enjoy and I always appreciate comments.

Wonderful capture. The birches all in a row and that beautiful little rainbow just after the rain. Very impressive!

Great rainbow shot Verena, what I really like about this shot is the winding road and the rows of trees. I also like that you got low while taking the shot.

The trees look as if they're celebrating the beautiful sky... and the winding road takes us... where?

I think we are back at the golf course X. The wet road with the white birch is what really makes this shot. The rainbow is icing on the cake. Excellent.

The only way I could get a shot like this, is if I manipulated the rainbow into the picture. I love the row of trees and the sky is great. Well done, Verena.

One of the most interesting rainbow images I've ever seen! What an unusual beautiful placement with the clouds and the opening in the grey skies. Then there are the trees and winding wet road... Nice!

Verena this is so beautiful. I have added it to my favorites. I lovehow the rainbow gives the sublest hint of colour across the grey sky and the way the white of the birch trees seems almost luminous.
