This is wallpaper-sized version of book cover artwork I created for Pierre-Yves Touzot for his coming novel "Terre Lointaine" (Distant Earth). Book is to be published later this year in France. The book cover will be red - but it looks too contrast on desktop, so I changed it to blue. I need to note that this image is fully copyrighted to the client, and cannot be used other than desktop wallpaper. Beautiful and evocative imagery - it makes me think of the feeling I've sometimes had when I've needed to be alone and have been, but am ready to "return", or the feeling I've had when finishing really thinking or (trying to) meditate... of being lost in another world and coming back...

Congratulations, and thanks for letting us use this as wallpaper, and my thanks also to the author for his permission as well. This is very different from what I usually expect from you, but the grown-up theme is something you also do with panache..great style.

My wife and I saw this earlier on your site. She was actually taken by how good your work was. She rarely says anything about various artists other than that is nice or that is pretty. You do some awesomely good work friend. This is another fine piece.

What a beautiful cover for a book. When I got this in the VB it immediately made me look and ponder. I like the blue,but I imagine it can be wonderful in red also. I appreciate so very much that you and your client are allowing it to be here for us all to see. Congratulations to both of you on this. This art piece made me want to cry when I saw it. It relaid a feeling of loneliness. I don't know if that was what you were trying to captur, but if it was you did a fabulous job. I very much like the piece, and completely agree with you on the blue; red would have been somewhat menacing.
