So when you get your poster, just PM me telling me that you got it and include the text that you find on the BACK of the poster. hey how bout this, the profit made from the sales goes into the caedes cadre, like if someone buys a poster, all the "excess" used to fund the site will go into a persons account in the caedes cadre. sound like a good idea?

I guess it is possible. It was however a WHOLE lot of work to get the poster just right (I'm really obsessive about getting every single pixel just perfect). mabe we could alternate around the "honor" of making the poster. ;-)

fantom... I ordered the largest size today, the postage to Australia was about $12 from memory, so that is about $32 US... according to the currency conversion site I just visited that would be about $45.50 AUD.

Well done - the poster certainly look fantastic. May have to wait a little while to buy myself one. I'm honoured to have some of my photos featured on it and look forward to having everyone's great pictures in print on my wall sometime soon. :-)

The daprints server seems kinda slow, like it can't always serve up the images in time, causing broken images. They must not have the true power of Dual Athlons! ;-)

just got mine and I have to say this is a fantastic poster. I wasn't really planning to frame it, but now that I see it in person, I am truely amazed at the quality. Great job!

I agree with Samatar - We have many people here that have great works that could be made into posters.
Maybe we should all look into what it takes to get our own "stores" started there. Then we could all make sure to push selling the Caedes.net poster too....more $$$ for the site that way too. Links back and forth etc. (and links to daprints from any personal web pages out there too)

ladyturtle: Selling prints on daprints is pretty easy. You have to pay a small fee to start (something like $25), then you just upload the work that you want printed.

Got my poster...spent like an an hour and a half just looking at all the little pics. Awesome poster, one that definitely needs to be framed. It's kinda wierd how proud you seem when you see some of your artwork printed on something that anyone could buy...

Samatar : very little on this site is in the public domain right now. Each author retains the copyrights to the images that they upload. By uploading to caedes.net they give the site a legal right to redistribute the work. Public Domain means that they work is free to use as anyone wants, this is nothing like mearly granting a distribution license.

Caedes, I'm surprise that only 18 were sold. Judging by the volume of interest and messages, I would have expected double that amount. Maybe you should put a thumbnail on the front page as a feature so that newer people can see what the poster is about.
