Greg, thanx a lot for the comment on Baby Baobab..and yes, it is still a baby if you compare it to the 2000 year old Baobab I've posted a while ago. I will definately do a revisit after the first spring rain and show you the beauty of this baby in bloom... I can't wait for spring.. luckily our days are not cold anymore, but the late evenings/early mornings still have a bit of a bite.. have a great Wednesday

Thank you for your comment on "Sunny Rays"!
I'm glad you like it :) Indeed you're right, it can stand without the frame, but I thought it would be a nice idea to add one :) If you'd like to see the original picture without the frame and my little editing, I uploaded it here: http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/6997/sunrayswe5.jpg
We've been awfully busy the last few days and been in the Kruger Park the past weekend (for three days) therefor the delay in commenting on your last posts.. but believe me, we're checking them out, and enjoying them tremendously! Well done on them, and hope to catch up again soon..

Kia Ora Greg, thank you for your words on Valley of The Gulls - Glad you like it :)
You ask how did I do it - I use PSP and after I had added the frame to the image just went into Effects/Geometric Effects/Perpective (Horizontal) and messed about with that. I think I had to add some further black bordering after that. I had forgottten about it - I may try the same effect again sometime when I am uploading again - am having a break just not to catch up with other things - mainly work :(

Thanks for the support Greg. I'm glad you like my landscapes, it feels like a validation.
I have no intent of being anything other than a one trick pony. Big mountains, big skies and big planets, that's all I like to do. In pursuit of that simple goal, I want to become as good as I can. So your comments are much appreciated.
Greg, I appreciate your comments on "From The Facade Of Union Into The Arms of Separation." You mentioned how it may look on canvas and I can only relate to you how much I wish I could paint. That is a skill I wish I possessed. ~~ John
