Image: Approaching Storm

This was taken the same evening as "Light The Night" about an hour and a half before. The sky really did some changes that evening. This was the first sight I saw when I hit the beach!

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I'm thinking about entering the orange contest with some red rock canyon shots..so I am going to upload a few to see which one looks the best. I didn't enter the B & W contest because I simply never take any, in fact I have never entered any contest here... I do tend to like my photo's to be bold, colorful and bigger then life so for the next few days orange will become my new favorite color Thanks for stopping by Steve and viewing "Grand View"

I am in awe how our natural world is alive with beauty, wonder and mystery.
When you see nature at it's truest, you do not need Picasso, or Da Vinci, or Van gogh....it is sublime in it's perfection and purity"

I am an outdoor nature lover, maybe that is why you don't often see many buildings or city views in my shots

Thanks for looking at my orange log

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.

There are great overlooks all around Peyto Lake and plenty of big flat stones to sit on to admire the view and watch the colors change as clouds pass over and the sun moves across the sky. Hi Steve...thanks so much for viewing Moody City! I loved the sky too..and was happy that the shot turned out the way I saw it! I keep going back into it to check for the straightening that you mentioned...and I think I got it straight. I went by the buildings rather than the landscape and waterline because neither were reliable to line things up with.
