Hi again - thank you for checking in at '11-11'! Been there a few times and it always amazes me. One of the ship's bells is here in Tucson in the UofA's student union building. Thanks again Bruce!
Bruce, Thanks for the comments on "Finch and Coneflowers". Since I am fairly new to Caedes, I wasn't sure what they consider the line between "manipulation" category and PS adjustments. Is that left to the Artist?
Thank you for your comment on 'BaRe BeAcH bRaNcHeS', I know the horizon is wrong, tried to level it and the rest of the image went out of wack an odd thing has happened with my camera lately which is to curve the horizon whenever I set it to beach view?...will work on it. Kate :)
Thanks for your comment on Mwnt Beach Aug 2007 (1). I didn't know people went to so much trouble to check if the spelling of title was correct. Mhm, the beach is secluded and fantastic. And is now also gaining international appreciation! :)
Hey again Bruce - thank you for stopping by 'New Year's Resolution #1'; wish I was out there on that sailboat too! You were right, I thought I'd leveled it - but when I measured my monitor's top corners found it was tilted about 3/16" from one corner to the other so re-did it ... thanks!
Thanks for your comment on Follow The Leader. I have to agree with you, some of the trees have been eaten and rubbed at by cows so now they all have these weird shapes. I might have a closer look as soon as the weather gets better.
Bruce, Thanks for the comments on "Hummingbird Aerial Dogfight II - Physical Contact". Well, the odds are pretty good of getting a shot like this when you spend untold hours in the sweltering summer heat waiting for the hummers to show up at your food source setup. :)
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

Thanks ,Bruce, for your comments on "Every Inch a Swan". I understand what you mean about the cropping but I only narrowed the frame a bit. i was so close to the swan that it did actually fill the frame width-wise.
---but is it too much effort to provide a few words identifying the circumstances?---
Bruce my initial though was that my 'In Flight' image spoke for itself. But now I see you're right. Therefore I added a narrative below your given comment.
Thanks anyhow for your comment. Appreciate this kind of constructive support very much.
Regards, Cornelius
Leveling the horizon means that my sloppy posture would be even more emphasized than it already is. Thanks for noticing and letting me know. Sometimes, like Franklin, I think a speckled ax is best.
Thanks, Bruce for your kind comments on "The Searcher".I'm sorry, I know people find wonderful things when out metal-detecting but walking up and down a cold windswept beach listening to a range of beeps all day? No, thanks!! lol But each to his own as they say!
Hi There Bruce
Thank you for stopping by to comment on Frangipani. I didn't know that they were also known as Plumeria... thank you for that interesting titbit of information:-)

Thanks, Bruce, for commenting on "Spring? What Spring?" I'm really glad you like it. It has been a strange day today. To start it was very stormy, then it calmed down and the sun came out and we ended the day with a lovely sunset!
Hi Bruce...re: ~demo derby~. I did not put an explanation with it since I felt it was rather self-explanatory. This was shot on 1-31-8 in St. Louis, Missouri on Interstate 40 right as the snow began to fall. The highway was shut down in both directions. This was shot out of the car window as well :(....our one son is a firefighter (no that is not him :) and the other one is a policeman so I am always shooting pictures of emergency responders. This is much more a snapshot even though it tells a story. There was no one killed, but there were multiple minor to moderate injuries that occurred on both sides of the highway. There is nothing particular about that part of the road that makes it deadly. All of the problems occur due to driver speed and carelessness when the snow (or even rain) begins, So, it is a rather common event unfortunately.
Hope this helps you! Any questions, please feel free to PM me!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day ;=)
Aloha Bruce and thank you very much for you comments on 'morning tears' You have made my day, I am so glad that you like it it means a lot to me coming from you. You've helped me on past post and I appreciate that very much. ~Imua
Unguided means that I made no off-axis corrections during exposure. The telescope drive is a sort of clockwork mechanism that moves the scope along the equatorial plane at the same rate the earth turns. For longer exposures, it is often necessary to make minor manual input corrections to avoid producing egg-shaped stars.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for dropping by. I'm glad you were pleased.
Thanks for you comment on Good Morning. She never stops moving, in fact she is trying to help me type this message to you. :) She's like a little devil monkey, not really a cat at all.
Thank you for your comment on the kite surfer picture. I really understand about the horizon too. I'm still learning and I just bought my first SLR last Friday. It was my first time really playing with it, and I was very excited that it just so happened to be a kite surfer out there. I love the constructive criticism and I will definitely use it in my future shots.
Thanks for looking at Albanian Viewing Restrictions and I'm grateful you took the time to comment. Tes, No Camping it is but... they do restrict the view a little perhaps? Tommy
Thanks,Bruce for you nice comment on "Texas Wildflowers" they are growing all over on the sides of the Highways...I think Texas most beautiful season is Spring... i though about cloning out the utility poles, but I decided against it:)
Bruce, my good man, you're absolutely right! ENOUGH of the darn winter and snow! I envy you for living in Florida!! Well, this has been the longest winter I've seen in my life and it's driving me on to the verge of insanity....Heck, I think I AM in the peak of insanity already!! Thanks for your sympathy and comment on "Today". It's still bloody snowing as I type these lines!! :-((
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my post "Fast Water". Actually the brown color of the water comes from the fact that the St. Louis river's source is the peat swamps of northern Minnesota.
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
Thank you for commenting on my forest photo. Yes, I know that the sky should be blue but I choosed a sepia tone instead because I wanted to create a vintage feel... Ya know, like in an old movie. =)
Thank you Bruce for commenting on Piggy Back? it is very much appreciated. I think you are right about their name, but at the time of uploading it completely escaped me. Thank you very much!
Ann
Hi Bruce,
Good to hear from you again. I loved your comments on my "Go To Your Shroom!" pic. You said, "To me, this looks like a rough-skinned alien with protruding mouthparts!" and I too can see that...lol.
.......It gives us a chance for a closeup look at an interesting creature we mostly tend to ignore......

Hoi, Bruce!
I agree with you!
A lot of people are posting an Eagle, not a regular bird
in Holland!
Thanks for commenting on "Orange eyed Pigeon"
Regards!
John
Thanks for your kind comments on "The Thatch In Bloom". It's a wonderful old pub which sells great beer and food. I had no problem with my verticals but I know what you mean about some shots.
" A citizen can hardly distinguish between a tax and a fine, except that the fine is generally much lighter."
G. K. Chesterton.
You are neither taxed nor fined if you look at My Gallery.
Thank you Bruce for stopping by my "Crimea #2" pic.
You have an interesting vision and btw I love your "Life Lesson". You are lucky to catch those kittens :)
Thank you for commetning on my "Old Times" I do like the dream effect to I think its a little to bright on the left side I can't tone it down. I didn't know they still sell them.
Hi Bruce thank you for you critiques on "Spiky." I do appreciate it. When I took this picture I was just so excited to get close enough to actually get the shot. I really didn't focus on anyhting else but the bird.My zoom lens is only 18-55mm(*.*) I need to get a more a efficient lens.

Thanks Bruce for your comment on "May I come in". It was my intention to shoot her out of focus. She knows she is not allowed into the garage but on this cold day she really wanted to be with us. I wanted an image where you could she her but not good... to get the feeling of looking past her.
Hello sailorman, thank you very much for visiting and commenting on Icy Rose. As this was my first upload to caedes, I particularly appreciate your time and comment. I also forgot to mention in my description that the words are from the song The Rose recorded by Bette Midler and the lyrics and song Music are by Amanda Mc Broom.
Thanks a lot, you are quite right. Thart's why the ship was a bit slow, it was "uphill". LOL I should have "passed" the photo through Picasa. Thanks anyway.
Hey Bruce, glad you liked my "Cone Head" photo. I did not post it before cause I thought the pointed head on the Cardinal was something I did wrong with the camera. Oh well, some of our best work ends up in the trash bin.
