It's interesting what catches people's attention. I never would have thought to post this without the contest and it seems to be moderately popular. Guess there's a need for history after all.
4th place accidental: Superb image, and I too agree it is contest worthy! What I think really makes the image are the glimpses of hand tools you left in the background, not enough to distract, but enough to evoke a feeling of times gone by. Focus and composition are perfect!
