3rd place stonewolff: An excellent photo filled with detail and texture. It is hard to get a way from; there is so much to see and the composition 'pulls' one's view inward...very nice.
Chipola1972: Wonderful image. It shows the complexity of early machine shops that had to use an overhead pulley system to power machines, before electric motors. If I may, I will use this image in my high school classes when I discuss the industrial revolution. This image shows early working conditions and will serve as an excellent counterpoint to images of more modern factories.
4th place tib: Wonderful shot of this machine Jaap! It must have been very well cared for because it looks to be in great shape. Good luck in the contest!
