Eubeen: Congrats on your placement in the contest.
A good capture of the smith and all his tools and a great use of selective colouring in the scene. Was he making you a new set of clubs while you wait?
sean_pm: like that you left fire glowing

3rd place tanimara: Wow - what an interesting shot. I love all the details and the monochrome gives it that wonderful feeling of history.
Chipola1972: Wonderful image. It shows the complexity of early machine shops that had to use an overhead pulley system to power machines, before electric motors. If I may, I will use this image in my high school classes when I discuss the industrial revolution. This image shows early working conditions and will serve as an excellent counterpoint to images of more modern factories.
4th place tib: Wonderful shot of this machine Jaap! It must have been very well cared for because it looks to be in great shape. Good luck in the contest!
Sinestro: I'm enjoying this Mechanism very much, Jaap! The warm patina and Depth make for a Fine image!
