Adding extra info in your capture info

Hello. . I have a desire that those posting photographs, in their introduction to their capture, include information on what lenses, ISO Speed and Aperture they used. I would find it really useful for deepening my knowledge and appreciation of each capture.

I just posted the details on my latest upload, but it has yet to hit the galleries. I do have a question though. What is the best way to find all these facts out? Neat Image tells you the camera, shutter speed, and ISO, but I actally had to reload the image on the memory card and put it back in the camera to find out the f/stop. What is the most convenient way to retrieve the information on any undedited photo on the computer?

Your camera can shoot with a shutter speed of 1/1002nd of a second? Now that is control.

It would be good if they grouped the "important" stuff at the top .. and then discussed geneology branches of the CEO's family later down the list

ie .. I don't think most of that is pertinent to anything

While exploring files in windows explorer you can simply right click on it and bring up the properties. In the summary tab there is a button with advanced on it. If you click that it will give you all the info you want.

Of course you are talking PC's. . but its a good tip. Just about the right amount of info. . although its not a copy and paste job. . and in fact many of the captures I have downloaded have this main information. . the ones that don't are the photoshop etc. manips. . .

I secondeded that.

It should be optional: the fields should be there, just not necessary for upload. As for all the images already uploaded, what did Caedes decide to do with all the old comments when we could have an icon next to our new ones?
