Major League Baseball teams officially opened Spring Training today with pitchers and catchers reporting for duty. This Redbird was representing the St. Louis Cardinals and was broadcasting the news on the airwaves. Spring Training is one of the first signs that winter is coming to a close and life will soon get back to normal for baseball fans. He saw his shadow, so that means the Cardinals will be in the World Series this year. Go Redbirds!!

Those old antenna's are going the way of the dinosaur for sure. I remind not being able to watch certain shows in the winter because our roof top antenna would ice over, and wouldn't turn.

Great shot and narrative Tick - I do hope the Cardinals are in the World Series and become the champions - in my area, not many are feeling optimistic about the Philadelphia Phillies - it will be quite a while until they become serious contenders!!!:-):-):-)!!!
