The Bugler in this photo let me have it for not showing a more favorable photo. Since I didn't want to get trampled or kicked in the head, I relented and showed him in a more gentle pose. I could have showed him in a different pose, where he was somewhat excited and showing off, but after all, there are restrictions on this site. We'll save the other photo for a Stud Service site.

Chuckles at your description note ...

Omg, look at the heavy coat on the white horse in the back! Interesting markings. What are they? Appaloosa? Mustang? Mutt?

They look well loved, if not slightly confused about what you're doing, standing in the field with some strange contraption (camera) in your hands.

Nice shot, TicK.

My granddaughter is horse crazy, and is continually harassing her parents to buy her one or let her go to a riding school! lol

I showed her this lovely image, and she is more determined to ride one.

Think to see some amazement in his eyes, Tick, because you had the courage to disturb the pleasures of his meal, ☺ .
Good and to a certain extent funny one, Owd Fella!

LOL - I thought it was him - he has a look abut him..I don't think he is the type to stand any nonsense from photographers so you did right to do as he asked and shoe him looking more benign:)
His other activities can be left to the imagination

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
