I never tire of taking photos of this majestic bird. I spied this one the other day following our first snow of the season. It was also the first Eagle I had seen this fall. I wish the sky had been more alive, but you take what you get. I did add some different backgrounds and perhaps I will share those in the future. This one is straight from the camera with a little cropping.

The advantage of a flat sky is that you focus on the subject more and this one is worth looking at in detail.

Very nice indeed. In my former profession, I was lucky enough to travel to most parts of our planet, and saw Eagles and various kinds of birds of prey...all are so majestic and proud in their appearances.
