My wife collects cookie cutters and this is a small portion of them. Some have been in her family for several years and some she has purchased. I thought it would make an interesting display for the current contest. I took several photos and she liked this one the best. Therefore, it is my entry. The arrangement would have been better had my wife been home--but she wasn't and it isn't.

Your wife has a treasure hiding in plain sight there, and I don't mean just you. Can we trade creds for cookies? I'm completely open to a quid pro quo. Heck, I'll even give you two for one. Deal? And that sort of collection would've brought a smile to my mother's face too, she loved to collect stuff like that. In her case is was Hummel figurines, cut crystal, and Fostoria glassware. Christmas ornaments, elves, and miniature dioramas were also a favorite. The farther we get from handmade tools and artifacts like these, the more we'll value them and mourn the lost artistry they represent.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), this fine image is to me a feast of recognition. In my imagination I can smell the typical fragrance in my mother's kitchen again while she was baking cookies. She had similar cookie cutters as well. When the cookies were ready, but still were warm, she offered me always one to try whether her baking result was successful. Of course there was always my confirmation.
Wish that I could revive this situation once more again.
Thanks for this nostalgic post.
