I have not posted a photo of a horse in sometime, so I thought three was required for this one. I was drawn to the splotches of white in the scene. I left the leaning electric pole and the wires because I felt they added some interesting lines. Enjoy.

Old Paint-Linda Ronstadt

Old Paint-Woody Guthrie

SEA reminded me this qualified for the SNATM. Thanks SEA for your reminder.

The wires and pole do add to the picture - as does the barn. Both contrast with the beautiful horses featured up front. The good and the bad. Doesn't look like there's much to eat where they are standing now. But they look well fed and will be okay.

It looks as though the color couldn't be decided before birth. Nice and peaceful scene with the old barn and the horses. Did you talk to them Tick? And what did the horses say?

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I like such scene's very much. The accompanying music links are very well chosen by you.
My favorite version of 'I ride an old paint' is the one of the late Johnny Cash.
Thanks for this wonderful post, 👍 !

PS: I expected that it would be a contribution for the SNATM-theme (🎥) but I didn't see it in the list.

It's a terrific B&W Tick and I would have also left the wires and pole - in this shot they add character.

...The greyscale assignment make the image look like it could've been taken anywhere from 60 to 80 years ago, even with the rural powerlines...

Nice job, Cap'n...Faved...

Very good Tick. I enjoy your images that include horses. My uncle long ago used to tame wild horses and had a horse club. It didn't hurt that he owned the seed and feed hardware store in town either. That has been over 50 years ago now. Every time I see images like this I remember good uncle Bill. Thanks, Tick.
