One of the things I have been doing during the Covid-19 lock down, is scanning old 35mm photos so I can save them in a digital format. Pictured is the Whistle Stop Cafe that was featured in the movie Fried Green Tomatoes.. It is one of my favorite movies.
My wife and I took a vacation to Georgia in 1994 and decided to check out the filming location in Juliette, Georgia. Unfortunately the cafe was closed the day we were there. You can see some shots of the filming location here.
The photo was taken with a Canon Rebel 35mm camera. I sent the scanned photo (along with some others) to Jethro (E.J) and he worked some Topaz Magic on them. This was enlarged 6X with Topaz Gigapixel and then enhanced with Topaz AI Clear to remove some noise and other imperfections. Thanks Jethro.
I used the Photojournalism gallery since it is like an article I would do for the newspaper. I would use more information instead of links in an actual newspaper article. It is also my contribution to SNATM
Got to fave this....
