I had a feeling the prom would go on this year since the ladies all had their dresses purchased. This is my Grandson with his date. He will be a Junior, if and when, school returns. I liked all the blues in this scene and thought it worked placing the couple in the center. Sometimes rules must be broken. It also shows some major social distancing. Thanks for taking a look and any comments you might make.

This is a beautiful shot with the happy pair as centre attraction Tick. The scene is wonderful and the reflection is an added bonus

I love what you did with your title, oh great one! ;) This year shorted our children from a proper school year and a proper school year ending. If things improve, maybe all of this year's seniors could have a one year anniversary and have their proms and graduation ceremonies. They worked for it and have earned it.
I always like the contrast provided by blues and greens. Your picture gives me plenty. It looks like a beautiful day and maybe letting us all know things are going to get better.

Love taking photos of grandchildren, my are all out of school and I miss being at every event with the camera. These two looked so nice in their blues.

That's a clever title, Tick. The blue suit and gown are beautiful especially surrounded by all that blue water. It was a pretty day for the picture.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), this wonderful image proofs to me that blue (literal meaning, 😁) as leading color in a portrait can be wonderful. The outfit of our grandson and the gown of his date match perfectly with the blue sky and the blue water. The reflections are a bonus.

Looks like the golfer in the background might be hitting a mulligan, LOL! Nice shot, kinda sad these kids are having to miss out on such highlights of their high school days, but you have provided them with a great pic that will always be a way to remember.

...I prefer this background over the textbook "Near the wall, with the silver tinsel, paper streamers, shiny plastic stars, 'Enchantment Under the Sea' theme/motif, etc..." - All that usual mundane stuff you associate with a prom or formal High School dance...
