The corn crop in Western Missouri is so good they are running out of storage room. Mountains of corn are awaiting their fate. I did notice a Cargill sign at the end of the fence surrounding the corn. There was a steady stream of trucks full of corn to unload while I was taking this photo. Judging from its location by the railroad tracks, I would guess it will reach its final destination by train. I thought this was a good sign of autumn and the harvest season. I liked the lens flare, so I didn't crop it out.

That is a lot of corn - we had a quite dry summer which I don't think Mo had so I'm sure our farmers are not faring as well at least in the northern part of the state. Excellent shot from the heartland.

I never cared much for Good & Plenty, but I rather like and enjoy Land Of Plenty. I see the golfer is on track and about to play through. Sorry, kinda corny, I guess. ;)

An amazing sight to see Tick - that's what the heartland is all about and what the farming community in this country has produced - Great Capture!!!

Along with Iowa corn we should be able to eat a lot of Cheerios cereal. Good capture, they hardly know where to go with it all. Your photo looks like it is around here.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I suppose that these 'golden' hills are for human consumption and not for chicken feed or anything else. In that case, one can't imagine how many slices of bread are laying here.
With such abundance, there is a danger that grain prices will drop. However, I hope it will not adversely affect farmers' creditworthiness.
Excellent photojournalism capture!

...Good thing we have so much corn in abundance...

--- If things get any nastier with the COVID count, that just might be part of our reserves with limited production mandates in place... I fear that America might have to "tighten its belt loop" through this fall/winter pandemic wave, so stock it if you can!

Nice capture with the sky on this one, Cap'n...Faved
