I saw this while driving to my grandson's football game Friday night. I turned around and drove back to the bridge. The bridge was rather new, but not overly wide. While I was standing on the bridge, the County Sheriff drove by and watched me shooting. I paused, waved and continued shooting. Luckily he didn't shoot back or send me up the river. Sometimes you can get by with a lot during an election year. I had noticed several election "so and so" for sheriff signs along the road.

There have been a couple of times a policeman has investigated my taking of pictures. They just wanted to know if everything was alright. I was just polite and thanked them for their interest. One such time I was taking a picture of a sunset at a parking lot. Your picture is nice and I'm sure the policeman was just doing his duty. People just get a little nervous when the cameras come out in public. Good picture, Tick.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), the only time I was joined by police officers was on a photo shoot on open water. I had to moor next to their police boat. One of them wanted to fine me for sailing too fast. When I explained to him that I had temporarily increased my speed (no more than 5 seconds) for safety reasons (to give way to a passing ship) he wasn't convinced. I had to identify myself. When he saw my sailing license and apparently concluded that I had a maritime background, everything was forgiven and forgotten. I continued my sailing, however, feeling sick (not sea sick however, 😜 !).
I hope you have been spared such a feeling. I don't see any reflection of such a feeling of sickness in your beautiful photo.
S+F. Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture!

I had an encounter when shooting in Door County Wisconsin - the sheriff felt I was too close to the hwy - at least you got an excellent shot for your trouble.
