Here are some flowers that I took a photograph of one of the neighbours plant from their front porch. I thought they looked nice, not sure what kind they are, but I hope you guys like them. P.S. this is the first time that I have taken a Photograph that wasn't mucking around, so if it isn' the best please I would like to hear you comments on how to improve. I framed it with photofiltre. The camera that I used was a mates Olympus C-150 digital camera. Thanks Jason

What beautiful flowers! I love all the different shades of pink that you can see in this photograph! My only suggestion would be that maybe a different background would have make the coloring of the flowers really pop and make them even more beautiful. But as far as I'm concern Jason, you did a great job with this one

I like it, Its nice and soft. Im going to agree with luv on that one though, the background doesnt make it pop out of the picture. Other than that, excellent, I like how youv'e sorta gone out of your realm of fractals on this one.

Hey Jason...Great to see a photo from you. Really like the colors of these. background doesn't hurt these beauties at all. The wall color kinda compliments the flower color. But that is my taste. Might I suggest some sharpness or clarity. It may make the flowers brighten up some.like how you made the frame too.nicely done my friend...Bill

Great capture Jason! Glad to you see you experimenting with a camera also. I think you've done a good job with the border. Not sure what type of flowers those are, but I think Patti is right about Cyclamen. I don't really have any advice because I am still learning too. Nice job!

Hi again - a photo! Good looking subject and lighting too. On this type of pic, I 'try' to fuzz the background or change it (black?) next time. Cool!

They're really pretty flowers, Jason. I think the background take much away from them, but you can't always choose a background.

Nice shot..especially for your first serious photo. The lighting is soft, and the colours are captured well. If the background didn't have that mirror, or the basket handle on the left.. and just that smooth wall behind, then i think it would be better. I don't think these flowers are the kind that would every really jump out at you.. but keeping the background a little more plain would enhance the photos 'still-life quality.
