This is a better day for taking photographs and for a hike. This is the view of Mt Kembla from one point of Mt Keira. I hope the you guys like the view. I know it isn't the clearest but It was taken on my Nokia N70 Mobile. This is the second of five of Mt Kembla. I would love to hear your comments. Once I get my camera Im going to go back and take them again. This place I have taken the photograph from is Mt Keira. Mt Kembla Location: Wollongong State: New South Wales Country: Australia Cordinates: 34°25′S 150°49′E Elevation: 534 metres Area of Town: 1.6 sq. Km Population of Town: 934 Post Code: 2526 Mt Kembla is a coal mining town which had a major explosion back in 1902 and the min was closed down. The mine has recently re-opened in 2001. Kembla is an aboriginal word meaning "wild game abundant" or "plenty of game". The aborigines called the area "jum-bullah" or "Djembla" which means a wallaby. Mount Kembla has been described as a "sub-tropical belt of rainforest " which "housed a variety of game life which provided an abundant food supply". I hope the little history lesson wasn't to boring for you. I will give some more with the other three images. Thanks Jason

Sometimes you trust someone who turns out not to be honest. There are a lot of things that happen in life that don't turn out the way you're given the impression that they will. And I think that's all kind of a con. But I think we've probably all been hurt. Sigourney Weaver

Great shot jason. Thus proving you have a great eye and a steady hand. This is worthy of the best post card.

What fascinating history on this area, Jason. I can see why the Aborigines called this abundant! Well done, again, from your mobile. Australia is a country I've always wanted to see and I really enjoy the tour you're giving. Thanks!

What a great writeup to go along with this beautiful post Jason. Hard to believe these are coming out of a mobile. Beautiful expanse of countryside with wonderful colors. Well done.

Jason, are you on the payroll of this mobile phone maker company? If not, you ought to be. I can think of no better way to promote the quality of a cell phone camera, than to have you taking the photo's... As always excellent capture for any camera...
