Meet Silk. He is one hansome Llama and very protective of his 'play area' ;) On this day there was definitely a llama fight. Hope you enjoy seeing how tall he can get when someone threatens his territory -- which you'll see tomorrow ;) He is the only llama I've seen that always has perfect ears. I learned that if they look like 'parentheses' they are perfection. While I would have loved to clean up the surroundings and maybe 'paint' the fence (or remove it), it was impossbile because it was his anchor -- and it is at a ranch. Thanks for coming by and taking a peek. Have a great day. Anita

No need to "clean" it up. This is great the way it is. I think that the rust on the fence helps make Silk stand out. Thanks for sharing.

Silk would have made a great spooky entry for the fall contest. I don't know why, but I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark place. He's very threatening, but beautifully displayed, and I'm glad you're a woman of courage and talent :)PJ

Well, I am viewing Silk backwards it seems. I saw the other post first. He is quite a towering creature and his fur is so dark. What a great animal he is. Thanks for posting this image, I wasn't the least bit concerned with the fence because as you said, it is his support.

Now this is really something...that critter has to be 10 feet tall. Great shot, never seen anything like it. Very nice.

I had to smile while looking at these Llama images, I find them quite comical - they must be quite a bunch of characters!

in sneakers, i stand at 6' even. the llama in my recent pic was being walked around the zoo, and in a normal pose his head was easily a couple of inches higher than mine, so yeah... they're big :o) nice shot, anita. i don't think i've ever seen one in this 'pose'
