I found these trees so interesting and fully in Fall dress. They are in the middle of the duck pond at the Houston Zoo. Enjoy and thanks for taking a peek. I appreciate you all. Anita

The tree stands in the middle of water ... fantastic. I hope, it does not get to much water and stands strong there. Its such a pretty tree, would be sad, if it gets sick ...

What a neat and interesting post this is Anita. I like it does seem strange that the tree is in the pond. Look nice though. Thanks for sharing the colors with us.

It's a very pretty sight, Anita, and I'm glad you saw it and posted it..it's so clear and bright in its autumn finery. I've begun to realize that there are some trees that thrive in the water...and certainly this must be one. Up here, when they get too close to the water they experience root rot and end up head first in the drink :)PJ

This is a great shot, not only because it's so clear and detailed with excellent color and lighting, but because it's so interesting to see the tree in the water like that!

It is strange for me to see trees growing in the water and not be on an island. These cypress are intriguing and showing off just a bit of fall color in emphathy with their northern kin.

How neat kinda like the wallflower or the waterflower these trees are. Out there in the middle of the water all by their lonesome. Nice job at capturing this lovely site.
