Display of a few (of many) cars and automobilia of a local car collector. Sorry it is not in HDR, but in my opinion there is already way too much of that overdone treatment on this site already. ;)
Oh, this is another example of the man's world ... I disapprove of motor vehicles in general, cars in particular. LOL Don't say you have not been tempted to try some colour manipulation here yourself ? LOL Good crime placement so to say, the night and valuable property enough for me though to take interest professionally. :) Lt SAM & Sgt SAAB
See that the local car collector has a good taste Larry, and probably sufficient money for his hobby as well.
Don't understand however why you've said 'sorry' for not using HDR, as anyone here on Caedes has the right to choose whether his/her upload gets a (HDR) treatment or not. If you don't like HDR postings, don't post them and just ignore the ones who got that treatment.
Like to say as well that to me your non HDR-image is a very fine one!

Please note that I put a 'wink' at the end of my description. I was just poking a little fun at something that I feel is over-used around here. To me, HDR is a novelty and should be used in that context. Personally, I prefer to see un-muddled photography in most cases, but that's just me, so no need for any ruffled feathers.
I agree with you about the heavy use of HDR, to a degree. It does sometimes make for startling images, in texture, color, and detail, but is often overused, either in individual photos or entire galleries. For some types of photos I don't mind it, if it's done tastefully, but usually I prefer them as you've shown us this garage exhibit. It took a little bit of back and forth before I realized that the whole right side was simply a reflection of the room and its contents. I like night photos like this because it feels as though we are being allowed a sneak peek into a world we don't always get to see. And the fact that there are no people in it gives me the sense of turning a street corner and accidentally happening upon it. A great eye, Larry. -Nik
